Everyone in the world wants to experience success and prosperity in life. All parents want their children to grow up and be a success rather than a failure. They want to pass on a living legacy that will bless their children and grandchildren. God promised Joshua that if he would center his life around the wisdom of His Word, he would enjoy a life of prosperity and success (Josh. 1:8). However, the lovers of the Bible do it more harm than the enemies of the Bible -- either by ignoring it or "...distorting Scripture to their own destruction" (II Pet. 3:16). Since the Bible is literally a revelation that is "out of this world," we need wisdom and discernment in the proper study and interpretation of it. We are like the Ethiopian eunuch reading it for the first time. When asked if he understood what he was reading, he replied: "How can I unless someone guides me?" (Acts 8:31). The principles of this book will help guide you in your understanding and application of God's Word so you can increasingly experience the prosperity and success God wants you to have in every area of your life.
